Air Cars: Solution to Pollution Free Air November 5, 2008

Global warming is scaring us all. It becomes a major issue in all nations all over the world. What scares me most is that, it is getting more and more serious each day, all the predictions about the global warming is getting “truer” every minute.
The major air pollutants that are major contributor of global warming are Carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Lead (Pb), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), Ozone (O3), and Particulate matter. These major air pollutants are usually in the form of motor-vehicle exhaust. In order to lessen the Global Warming problem, the Zero Pollution Motors built an Air Car. Air Car, is an environment friendly vehicle that runs on nothing but air and a splash of salad oil, alcohol or possibly a pint of gasoline.
The air car can run along at a top speed of 35 mph for some 60 miles or so, on a tank of compressed air, a sufficient distance for 80% of consumers to commute to work and back and complete daily chores. When used on highways, the compressed air car or CAV can run at interstate speeds for nearly 800 miles with a small motor that compresses outside air to keep the tank filled. The CAV motor is not choosy about fuel. It can burn biodiesel, ethanol, gasoline, diesel or even vegetable oil. The air tank also can be refilled when it is not in use by plugging into a wall socket and recharged with electricity as the motor compresses air.
Car factories are not quite ready produce at a larger volume car outputs and make more trendy designs. But the CAV’s will be built in some factories that will produce up to 8,000 vehicles a year, likely starting in 2011, and be sold directly to consumers. This car might be the solution to the air solution problem and the gas price problem, since the gas price is still continuing to soar and predicted to inflate more in coming years.
The inventor of this technology is Mr. Guy Negre, the founder and CEO of MDI SA, a company headquartered in Luxembourg with its Research and Development in located in Nice, France.
A Gigabyte of Wealth October 30, 2008

If soldiers have their gun and nuns have their rosary, I always have my “worn out” 3-year old 1 GB trusted flash drive with me. I use it to backup my important files, for emergency downloads and other contingency measures for a geeky-techie like me (I love the way it rhymes…). I’m wondering what kind of flash drive does Mark Zuckerberg (he’s the world’s youngest billionaire) or Bill Gates and the other rich-to-the-brim-with-overflowing-money people have.
Well, the Swissmemory Prestige has given me the answer. Swissmemory Prestige has a collection of 1 Gigabyte flash drives that fold into housing made of 925-sterling silver or 18-karat white and yellow gold. If Paris Hilton would not be contented to that, there is always the option of including diamonds on the casings. The latest craze for this flashy flash drive is the Pave model, which features glittering diamonds on the top of the shinny white and yellow gold.
Interested in knowing the price? Brace yourself. Swallow your coffee or whatever you have in your mouth first before you read the next sentence, you might get choked. This flashy, shinny 1GB flash drive cost a cool $23,000.00. Yep, you read it right, there is a dollar sign ($) before the number meaning it is US dollar. It is equivalent to a 17,466.79 Euro or 2,263,060.78 or Japanese Yen or 943,000.000 Philippine Peso or 29,908,364.79 Korean Won. The good thing about this flashy flash drive is that, the flash drive itself (storage area) can be removed for easy upgrading like changing its storage capacity to 1TB. So you still can have you’re your Swissmemory Prestige for a quite sometime, and if you have the guts, you can try wearing it as a pendant but I guess you have to use a stud-link chain used in forklift for safekeeping purposes.
I’m wondering if computer viruses can identify a cheap flash drive like mine from those flashy gold and diamond studded flash drive from Swissmemory Prestige? I guess not, they could also be infected by those damn irritating viruses, worms and Trojans.
Captivating Capiz: The Portal Of My Beginning September 15, 2008

I can’t think of any place where I could be comfortable and be what I am other than my hometown “The CAPTIVATING CAPIZ“. I was born, raised, nurtured and cultured in this beautiful, enchanting piece of land in the vastness of Panay Island. It surrounded by beautiful shorelines and mountains which serves as a fortress to my young soul. The Captivating Capiz is the portal of my beginning, the sanctuary of my being and my soul. I wonder, if I cannot be here where could be? Is there someplace that can me feel like home just like the way I felf in my hometown? I cannot think of any other place where I could be myself, and feel the comfort of my mother’s arms.
Capiz is known for three things, first it is known as the “Seafoods Capital of the Philippines” because of the abundance of the seafoods and very rich harvest of sea products. In Capiz you can find any kind of seafoods, anything edible and exotic seafood that you can think of. Secondly, it is also known for the “Capiz Shell”. Capiz shell is the famous product of Capiz, next to the seafood itself. This gorgeous handmade home decors and accessories are well-known not only in Philippines but all throughout the world because of its uniqueness and rarity. Lastly, Capiz is known for its “Aswang” label. This quite not good image for a beautiful and captivating place like Capiz. As a Capizeña I’m not proud of this label, but is seems like that it is what makes us distinctive from any other province in the Philippines. Personally, I want to erase this “bad” image for Capiz, for there are lot of beautiful things in Capiz that should be proud of rather than being called aswang. We have beautiful landscapes, enchanting caves and captivating beaches but most of all in Capiz you could meet bewitching women.
Be captivated. Visit Captivating Capiz!

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve,
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do greater things,
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy,
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men,
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life,
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing I had hoped for –
But everything I had hope for.
