Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3

Our favorite magical family will return with all their powers intact.  The Russo family will be returning in our screen starting October 9.  Wizards of Waverly Place or popularly known as WOWP had been successful in the previous 2 seasons and the WOWP The Movie which premiered last August 28, 2009 was a hit, it becomes the second place for most watched Disney Channel Original Movie.

Wizards of Waverly Place is rated as number 1 program in its timeslot this year.  On the survey made last April 2009, WOWP was the number 2 among the scripted TV series across all cable and broadcast television among tween audiences aged 9-14 and number 3 among kids viewer aged 6-11.  The series had been nominated on several awards giving bodies and the WOWP lead star Selena Gomez hailed as the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Television Actress and ALMA Best Actress for TV.

In the Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3, Harper Finkle, Alex bestfriend will be moving in with the Russo family.  With this move it is expected to have more wacky episodes concerning Alex and Harper adventures (and misadventures).  Meanwhile, Alex will pursue her dream of becoming an artist and designs her own studio inside a miniature dollhouse.  Big brother Justin will be on his senior year in high school and plans to savor every moment of it.  Max also hones his wizard skills and becomes a serious contender in the Russo kids’ quest to become the sole heir of the family’s wizard powers.

Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 will premiere on October 9, and new episodes will air every Friday night on 8:00 P.M (ET/PT) timeslot.
